Pho opening adds to Bold Street momentum

CBRE’s specialist markets team in Manchester has acquired Seoul Love’s Korean restaurant on Bold Street in Liverpool city centre on behalf of ambitious noodle chain Pho for an undisclosed sum.

The restaurant, located on the ground and basement of 79 Bold Street will be refurbished by Pho into an 80-cover restaurant specialising in Vietnamese pho noodle soups. The project includes the restoration of the Grade II listed building’s frontage.

Clerkenwell-headquartered Pho currently has 21 sites, and has become a regular sight in parts of cities on the rise as food destinations, such as Manchester’s Corn Exchange.

Nick Huddleston, associate director at CBRE, said: “Bold Street is one of Liverpool’s most exciting locations – its hub for independent stores, artisan cafes, boutique bars and restaurants, which has continued to flourish with a host of new openings from a range of independent and national operators.

“Pho’s acquisition will further enhance this vibrant and thriving location.”
