Be.EV plots Manchester charging hub
The electric vehicle charging infrastructure provider is to create a hub at the corner of Reliance Street and Oldham Road to provide 16 EV bays.
Architect That designed the scheme, which would deliver the facility in the Newton Heath area of Manchester.
Plans for the site also feature a 1,900 sq ft convenience store to accommodate the users of the EV charging facilities.
Of the 16 EV bays, two would be accessible and another two would accommodate larger goods vehicles.
The hub would sit on a former petrol station site, which has been out-of-use for more than 15 years.
Be.EV, who already runs over 300 charging points across Greater Manchester, ran a public consultation on the proposals last September.
Avison Young is the planning consultant for the scheme.
Also on the project team is landscape architect DEP and electrical engineer Schneider Electric.

Could we have one of these in Bolton please. Thanks

Nobody EVER uses the ones in Altrincham

While the roof looks good surely be better to have some solar panels to offset the charging cost. Be.EV are not the cheapest

Built the infrastructure and the cars will come.

Dan,You’ll need to stake the Altrincham ones out a bit longer , y’know like 24 hrs cos I use them and I know plenty who do, so yet again, completely wrong.
