Studio KMA makes trio of hires
Leaving Studio Power, Jyh Lee has joined the Ashton-under-Lyne-based firm as director of design and architecture.
Lee, who has previously been a partner at Stephenson Bell and senior architect at Falconer Chester Hall in Liverpool, is one of three new faces at Studio KMA.
The others are Sara Uruchurtu, who has joined from Corstophine & Wright as associate director and Hassan Baghertash, who has left PJ Livesey to become an associate at Studio KMA.
The practice has said that the changes formed part of a new organisational structure intended to strengthen operational leadership, project delivery and talent development.
Richard Hamill, who was promoted to associate director earlier this year said “I’m looking forward to working closely with the new members of the team. These appointments recognise the importance we place on leadership and will help position the practice for growth while maintaining the quality and values that define our business.”
Studio KMA employs 10 staff in total and is headed up by founder Andy Titterton. Current projects include a hi-tech bread factory in Openshaw for Sheldon’s and 70 flats in a former factory in Stoke.
