      The Opportunity

      Kingsley is retained by a market-leading commercial developer & investment company that operates across the whole of the UK and Europe and is looking to appoint a Commercial Asset Manager in the Northwest.

      Our client is one of the largest multi-unit industrial developers and investment managers, operating from offices across the UK, as well as Europe, and managing more than £900m of investment property across more than four million sq ft of commercial space.

      The Role

      We are seeking a talented Asset Manager to join the Northwest-based UK Investment Management team. This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for the day-to-day asset management of a portfolio of multi-let industrial estates located predominantly across the Northwest and Midlands.

      Responsibilities

      • Asset management of a portfolio of multi-let industrial assets
      • Developing and implementing value-add asset management strategies
      • Formulating annual business plans for each asset
      • Implementing and overseeing refurbishment programmes, and asset repositioning
      • Managing asset management activities including new lettings, refurbishments, lease renewals, rent reviews, regears, lease expiries, surrenders and forfeitures
      • Liaising and negotiating directly with tenants
      • Producing fund reports for clients and debt providers
      • Managing third-party service providers including letting agents, solicitors, property managers and building surveyors
      • Sourcing, inspecting and carrying out due diligence for acquisitions and disposals

      Skills & Experience

      Essential:

      • Demonstrable track record of delivering value-add outcomes across real estate asset classes
      • Experience of managing rent reviews and lease renewals
      • Strong commercial acumen and sound analytical skills
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
      • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
      • Collaborative team player able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Professional and positive approach with strong interpersonal skills

      Desirable:

      • Experience of managing regional multi-sector assets
      • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work on financial models independently
      • MRICS qualified with post-qualification experience in asset management
