Premier Foods makes 7,000 sq ft Manchester move

The owner of well-known food brands including Sharwoods and Angel Delight has signed a 10-year lease on the first floor of One St James’s Square.

Premier Foods has relocated its Manchester office to 7,000 sq ft within the building from serviced space at 125 Deansgate.

The new tenant will benefit from recently refurbished communal spaces within the five-storey building.

Premier Foods will join RSBG Group, which signed for 6,000 sq ft in the building in 2023.

LSH advised Premier Foods and Avison Young acted for the landlord, a private family-run propco.

George Cohen, senior surveyor at LSH, said: “It was a pleasure to work with Premier Foods to understand their workplace needs and form their workplace strategy within Manchester City Centre.

“Having moved away from serviced space, One St James’s Square ultimately represented a perfect solution to their needs and has allowed Premier to create a bespoke space within a great building.”

Matt Pickersgill, associate director at Avison Young, added: “It’s fantastic to see high-profile organisations such as Premier Foods choosing One St James’s Square as their long-term Manchester HQ and it is testament to the quality of the recent refurbishment of all communal areas, including reception and brand-new wellbeing facilities.

“The building offers them the efficient office space they were looking for within a modern environment and central location.”

OBI is the joint letting agent for One St James’s Square, alongside Avison Young.
