Lovell lodges plans for 66 Wirral homes

Proposals for the redevelopment of the former Foxfield School in Moreton have been submitted to the local council.

Lovell Partnerships wants to build 66 affordable homes on the 3.5-acre former school site off Ely Avenue, which has been vacant since 2018 when the buildings were demolished.

The school that previously occupied the site closed in 2015 when a replacement facility was built on New Hey Road in Woodchurch. The site is allocated for residential development in Wirral Council’s emerging local plan.

Lovell’s scheme would see the construction of a mix of terraced and semi-detached homes with two-, three-, and four-bedrooms.

The homes would be available on a variety of tenures including shared ownership, affordable rent and Rent-to-Buy.

DK Architects is leading on design and Stantec is the planning consultant. To learn more about the scheme, search for reference number APP/23/01524 on Wirral Council’s planning portal.

Looks a very decent and well throughout scheme. With DK Architects involved, you always know that it will be a cut above the average at worst and excellent at best.
