THE OPPORTUNITY & CLIENT
Kingsley is working with a leading UK property consultancy to appoint a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor within their Manchester Residential Valuation team. You will be responsible for conducting property inspections and producing accurate valuations across a diverse portfolio of residential properties for loan security, asset management, and advisory purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake site inspections and prepare comprehensive valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
- Manage a varied caseload of residential properties including houses, flats, new build developments, and portfolio valuations.
- Provide market analysis and commentary on local property trends, comparable evidence, and risk factors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to quality assurance processes (Senior Surveyor level).
- Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements, internal quality standards, and agreed turnaround times.
About You:
- MRICS qualification (essential) and RICS Registered Valuer.
- Sound experience valuing residential property using comparison, residual, and investment capitalisation approaches.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Client-focused, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and confident progressing instructions with minimal supervision.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
