Howard George appointed to Network Space board

Newton le Willows-based Network Space has appointed B8 Real Estate co-founder Howard George as a non-executive director.

George is a well-known North West industrial and warehouse property advisor, having successfully built two agency practices – DGi Davis George, sold to CBRE in 2007, and B8 Real Estate, formed in 2011 after exiting CBRE. As part of a recent restructuring of B8, George and fellow founder Tom Davis became consultants to the company.

Richard Ainscough, group managing director of Network Space, previously known as Langtree, said: “Howard has unparalleled knowledge and experience of the market which will be invaluable as we are bring over 1m sq ft of new industrial and distribution development through planning and continue to seek opportunities to place our investment funds which exceed £25m.”

George added: “This is an exciting new role for me and I am keen to get involved with a dynamic property company. I hope that my experience in the sector will be of benefit to Network Space.”

Network Space is a commercial property investment, development and management group, active across the North and Midlands of England. Having recently sold Compass Industrial Park and Lea Green Business Park in a £20m deal, in which they were advised by B8 Real Estate, Network Space is seeking to further increase its industrial development and investment activity.
