AECOM strengthens senior Salford team

Dean Hogg has been promoted to project director at the global multidisciplinary infrastructure consulting firm, while Dave Wright has been appointed to the same role, joining from Carter Jonas.

Both Hogg and Wright are based in AECOM’s Salford office at 100 Embankment – just steps away from Manchester.

Hogg, who began his new role in October, joined AECOM in 2019 as a senior project manager. Prior to working at AECOM he held positions at Turnbull Construction Project Managers in Vancouver, Arup, United Utilities, and the Ministry of Defence.

“We are delighted to announce the well-deserved promotion of our colleague Dean Hogg in the North region to project director,” said Jonathan Moore, AECOM’s regional director for the North and Midlands.

“Dean has showcased exceptional leadership abilities and an impressive track record of success,” Moore continued. “He has been instrumental in driving our expansion into the health sector, securing key commissions in the North region.

“Additionally, Dean has played a vital role in our sustainable legacies group, leading our heat network propositions and further enhancing our commitment to sustainable development,” Moore added.

“This promotion is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and outstanding performance. We have no doubt that Dean will continue to excel in his new role and contribute to the continued success of our organisation. On behalf of all your colleagues at AECOM, we extend our warmest congratulations!”

Wright started in his AECOM position in November. He has more than 20 years of experience, having worked at EC Harris, Evolve Management and Consulting, ID Interiors, and Verso Projects, in addition to Carter Jonas.

Moore welcomed Wright to the AECOM fold as well, noting his “strong commercial, public, and partnership background”.

Regarding his new role, Wright said: “By joining AECOM, I know I’m part of a team committed to providing a first-class service to clients and delivery partners. The diverse range of projects, complexity, and sector variance makes this an extremely exciting time to be part of its delivery team.”
