About us

Street Food Holdings owns Edinburgh Street Food and Manchester Street Food. Edinburgh has been trading successfully since March 2023; Manchester is due to open in June 2027. We intend to open a new venue every 18 months across the UK.

Street food markets have increasingly created a third space between pubs and restaurants: lively, highly accessible, design-led venues offering high-quality global cuisines, catering every dietary requirement, occasion and taste. We position ourselves as an authentic street food experience, with table service, which appeals to a broad demographic. Our venues retain the energy of street food through eclectic design, local supply chains, community engagement, strong events programming evolving menus and regular guest traders.

Edinburgh Street Food generated gross site revenue of £10.7m in FY26, with 17% sales growth year on year. It has 700 covers, hosts 200+ events a year, and was a finalist for Newcomer of the Year at the Scotsman Scran Awards and the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards. Our kitchens are run by independent operators, several with Michelin-starred backgrounds and others who are past winners of Scottish and UK street food awards.

The role

We’re looking for a Commercial Director to own profitable revenue growth across the Group, including developing new revenue streams. This is a board-level position, responsible for increasing footfall, repeat business and average spend across every square foot and every trading hour we have.

Your first priorities:

  • Maximise Edinburgh — grow customers, frequency and spend; build events, B2B and private-hire revenue; fill the quiet periods.
  • Launch Manchester and future venues — build the customer, corporate, events and partnership pipeline for our 700-cover Manchester venue, including private hire, the mini-cinema and ticketed events, and get it to maturity fast.
  • Build a model that scales — the systems, propositions and KPIs we can roll out to every new site.
  • Open new revenue streams — private hire, ticketed events, delivery, outside catering, sponsorship, brand activations, partnerships, and the loyalty app… — plus ideas we haven’t had yet.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Group commercial strategy, revenue plan and targets, working alongside the CEO, Operations Director and CFO.
  • Lead B2B, corporate, events, private hire and partnerships.
  • Point marketing, CRM and loyalty at measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Drive off-peak and seasonal demand and extend revenue-generating hours.
  • Set up clear commercial KPIs and dashboards, and run a live pipeline of opportunities.
  • Shape new venues so they’re designed around commercial performance from day one.

About you

  • You’ve owned a revenue and profit number and can show what you did to move it.
  • You’ve driven revenue across several channels — consumer, B2B, events, partnerships.
  • You’re entrepreneurial: you spot opportunities and turn them into profitable propositions.
  • You’re data-driven, but you also get into the detail and make things happen yourself.
  • You thrive in a fast-growing, founder-led business.
  • Experience in hospitality, leisure, food and drink, entertainment, events, retail or consumer brands is a strong advantage.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.

How we’ll measure success

Group and like-for-like revenue growth, EBITDA contribution, a successful Manchester launch, and growth in events, B2B, partnership and off-peak revenue.

Why join

A board seat in a cash-generative business with a proven model, in a growth sector on the right side of the consumer megatrends towards independence, experience, culinary innovation and localism. You’ll work alongside a strong, balanced leadership team and an experienced shareholder base with a track record of scaling businesses. You’ll get real ownership of the commercial agenda, a performance bonus of up to 30% of base, and EMI share options so you share in the value you help build.

Additional benefits include: –

  • Pension – 5% employer contribution
  • 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays, rising by one day for each completed year of service (up to five additional days)
  • Private medical insurance

To apply

Send your CV and a short note (no more than one page) on the largest revenue target you’ve owned and what you did to hit it, to [email protected] by midday on Friday 6 November 2026. We’re hiring directly — no agencies, please.
