Zara back at Liverpool ONE
Fashion brand Zara has re-opened its store in Liverpool ONE with a 9,000 sq ft expansion and refurbishment, taking the site to 27,000 sq ft.
Zara integrated its Zara Home store and moved into the former Boux Avenue unit. The shop will now be Zara's flagship in the North West. The unit re-opened on Thursday 9 October.
Zara's opening followed Michael Kors, which made its North West debut on Liverpool ONE's Peter's Lane. The 3,500 sq ft store is the brand's second full-line store outside London, and opened on 2 October.
Year-to-date sales at Liverpool ONE were up 5% compared to the same period in 2013 according to Liverpool ONE manager Grosvenor.
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management at Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said: "Zara's new store is a fantastic addition to Liverpool ONE's line-up of leading fashion brands. As significantly, it is their new regional flagship, which is a great endorsement of the strength and appeal of Liverpool ONE as the destination of choice for style-conscious consumers from throughout the North West."
Cushman & Wakefield and Tushingham Moore acted for Liverpool ONE. Inditex, parent group of Zara, dealt directly.
Zara, staff always unhelpful, really poor customer service, but new shop looks good!
