Work starts on 222,000 sq ft Knowsley warehouse
DJL Construction is aiming to deliver Huyton 220 for Linden Hill Capital Management by autumn next year.
To make way for the 220,000 sq ft shed off Wilso Road in Huyton, DJL is demolishing the existing shed on site – a former base for John Mason International Movers.
John Mason International Movers have since moved into a 30,000 sq ft building at Stopgate Lane, also delivered by DJL Construction for Linden Hill Capital.
Designed by KMA Architects, Huyton 220 is due to achieve BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, boast 18-metre internal eaves, and have a 65-metre-deep yard.
The facility sits within the Liverpool City Region Freeport. BOX4 Real Estate and JLL are the joint agents for Huyton 220.
It is the second scheme in a £30m pipeline of projects being built by DJL for Linden Hill. The first was the new home for John Mason International Movers at Stopgate Lane.
