C&C director makes Muse move
Max Bentham has joined Muse’s North West office as senior development surveyor after a six-and-a-half-year stint with Manchester-based developer Capital & Centric.
He will initially focus on the company’s Salford projects. Muse is bringing forward several projects in the city, including the regeneration of Salford Crescent and the New Bailey mixed-use scheme, both of which the firm is delivering as part of the English Cities Fund joint venture with Homes England and Legal & General.
Bentham has spent the last two-and-a-half years as a director at Capital & Centric, having joined the firm as a developer in 2014.
During his time at Capital & Centric, Bentham worked on schemes including Foundry, a 44,000 sq ft workspace in Salford, and Ducie Street Warehouse, a 122,000 sq ft aparthotel, restaurant and office development in Manchester.
Between 2006 and 2011, he worked as a development surveyor at Urban Splash.
Muse Developments’ board director Phil Mayall said: “Max will be coming into the business at an exciting time, as we expand our portfolio and mix of schemes in the region, working on some truly game-changing developments.”
Bentham said: “Muse is leading the way in investing in the region’s communities and delivering innovative schemes with purpose in partnership.
“Muse has a strong pipeline across the North West and I’m looking forward to the challenge of working for one of the best in the industry during this period of growth.”
