Manchester business lunch hotspot to close
The Restaurant Bar & Grill will soon be no more after Individual Restaurants announced plans to close it and Alderley Bar & Grill in Alderley Edge, as well as two Piccolino Caffe Grande establishments in Clitheroe and York.
The last day to dine at the impacted restaurants is 5 September.
Individual Restaurants owns 28 sites across the country. Closing the four restaurants will impact 140 jobs.
“The closure of these sites is part of a long-term investment and development plan for the future of Individual Restaurants,” said the company’s executive chairperson, Karen Forrester.
“Our main priority is to keep our people within our Individual Restaurants family by offering opportunities to relocate to other Individual Restaurants’ locations,” she continued. “We will be supporting them throughout this process.”
The news comes just a few weeks after the Manchester Piccolino’s unveiled a £400,000 extension.
“Business lunch hotspot” it’s had its day and failed to move with the times.
