Lloyds buys Chester Business Park campus for £45m
Aberdeen has sold Cawley House and Heronbridge House to their occupier, which has around 15 years left to run on its lease.
Lloyds Banking Group now owns its 330,000 sq ft Chester HQ, having acquired it for a deal worth in the region of £45m.
Three connected buildings in the south east corner of the business park make up the majority of the campus. Heronbridge House, a fourth, 32,000 sq ft asset a short distance away, was also included in the deal.
CBRE advised Lloyds. Aberdeen was unrepresented. Both parties were contacted for comment.
Lloyds Banking Group moved to Chester Business Park in 2019 from Westminster Road in the city centre. The organisation sold its former HQ to Blueoak and the developer is converting the 60,000 sq ft Charterhall House and the 45,000 sq ft Tower House into apartments.
