Eden Planning appoints director
Mandy Lewis has joined the planning consultancy from Rossendale Council, where she was head of economic development.
Lewis has a strong background in the public sector, having also worked for Flintshire County Council as head of planning and at Sefton Council as development manager. She also worked as a planning inspector at the Planning Inspectorate.
Eden Planning director Donna Barber praised the firm’s newest team member.
“Mandy is very well respected across the planning industry, and a great asset to both our team and our growth strategy over the next few years,” Barber said.
“Having experience of the planning process from both sides of the fence is invaluable, in providing expert insight and solutions for our clients.”
Regarding her new position as director at Eden, Lewis said: “Eden has an enviable track record and an exciting and diverse range of clients.
“I am really looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of the business and additional value to our client’s future developments.”
With Lewis’s hire, Eden now has a staff of 12. Eden is based out of Altrincham. Recent projects for the consultancy include the 500-apartment Miller’s Quay and the 1,815-home Vittoria Studios – both at Wirral Waters.
Mandy was brilliant at Sefton, and much missed by a lot of us still here. Eden have got a good’un.
