BrewDog latest to sign at £70m Chester Northgate
The craft beer maker will occupy 3,000 sq ft at Cheshire West and Chester Council’s city centre mixed-use scheme.
BrewDog joins the Florist, Tapas Revolution, Cosy Club and Picturehouse Cinema at the £70m Chester Northgate scheme.
The company aims to open this autumn.
Cllr Richard Beacham, cabinet member for housing, regeneration and growth, said: “We are delighted to secure such a high-profile and innovative brand to join us at Northgate, BrewDog will be a fantastic asset to the scheme.
“Their unique and maverick approach has established a reputation as a world-famous brewer, and I know residents and visitors to Chester will be excited to see them in the city.”
Since its launch in 2007, BrewDog has opened more than 100 bars across the world. In the North West, the company operates three sites in Manchester.
Last year, BrewDog opened a bar and hotel on the ground floor of Bruntwood Works’ Bloc development.
BrewDog also has a bar on Liverpool’s Colquitt Street.
RivingtonHark advised the Cheshire West and Chester on the deal.
Great news, the three in Manchester are in the top ten in the city centre.
