Beva sells two Littleborough units
Rochdale-based Beva Investments has sold two industrial units on Greenvale Business Park in Littleborough, Lancashire.
Unit 5B, which comprises 18,000 sq ft, was sold to PDS, a producer and supplier of doorsets, for £920,000. Unit 8A, of 5,038 sq ft, was sold to Falconex, an Oldham-based supplier of mechanical handling equipment, for £300,000.
Greenvale Business Park is a development of 26 new and existing warehouse and distribution units, located close to Littleborough town centre with access to the M62 and M60.
Andrew Aherne, head of industrial agency at LSH's Manchester office, acting for Beva, said: "These latest sales represent a double boost for Greenvale Business Park, which has continued to buck the trend of the economic slow-down, following a series of successful deals over the last eighteen months. With interest rates remaining low, freehold sales are becoming increasingly attractive to businesses wishing to owner-occupy, illustrating the continued stability of the Greater Manchester industrial market."
A further 50,000 sq ft is under offer with only four units remaining out of 26.
WHR and Barton Kendal were joint agents with LSH.
