Anwyl to redevelop Alfred H Knight labs in St Helens
Under Anwyl Partnerships’ ownership, the site off Prescot Road in Eccleston is set to become a housing development.
The more than three-acre site has been unoccupied for four years, according to Anwyl. Alfred H Knight, which specialises in analysing minerals and metals, now has offices at Kings Business Park in Prescot.
Anwyl has contracted NJL as the planning consultant and Lovelock Mitchel as the architect for its future residential plans for the site.
Anwyl is aiming to submit a planning application in the next few months and to begin work on the site in early 2023.
“We are very much committed to targeting regeneration and investment in the delivery of quality housing in St Helens and this site is a great acquisition for the division,” said Sam Oliver, land director at Anwyl.
Elsewhere in St Helens, Anwyl has submitted plans to build 79 homes off Rutland Street.
