Sheppard Robson promotes King

Sheppard Robson has promoted Gavin King, head of its interior design division ID:SR in Manchester, to associate partner.

King joined the practice in October 2007 from BDP. At Sheppard Robson he has worked with both the BBC and ITV on their relocations to Media City UK, and with KPMG at 1 St Peter's Square.

Helen Berresford, partner and head of ID:SR, said: "Gavin is a very talented designer and during his time with the practice has been instrumental in the development of ID:SR's Workplace Consultancy offer, which helps a diverse range of clients make the most of their working environments. The promotion reflects his commitment to developing the interior design team in Manchester and securing new clients for the practice."

Designed by Planit, the city council’s proposed 2.25-acre park on the former Central Retail Park site in Ancoats would include terraced gardens, play areas, and a lawn.
