Miller Homes doubles Birchwood office space

The housebuilder has signed a new lease for 8,700 sq ft at the park’s Building 103 on Dalton Avenue.

The move sees Miller Homes more than double the size of its Warrington office, taking an additional floor within the Birchwood Park building, which will be home to more than 100 staff.

Miller moved to Birchwood Park from Newton-le-Willows in 2021 taking an initial 4,100 sq ft.

The new lease will see the housebuilder occupy the entirety of the building following an increase in staff numbers off the back of a growing pipeline of developments across the region.

Miller recently acquired a site in Lymm with potential for 170 homes and is progressing plans for more homes at Omega Warrington having already delivered 200 there. Another 106 homes are planned in Charlestown, Manchester.

Jason Newton, managing director at Miller Homes North West said: “Our move to a larger space at Birchwood Park reflects the continued growth of Miller Homes across the North West and the strength of our development pipeline.

“Birchwood Park has proven to be an excellent base for our team, not only in terms of connectivity across the region, but also the quality of environment it offers our people. Expanding here allows us to support our growing team while remaining in a location that works well for both the business and our employees.”

Linda Welsby, leasing manager at Birchwood Park, commented: “We’re thrilled to continue working with occupiers, especially long-standing ones such as Miller Homes, as they grow within the Park on such a scale – and their expansion reflects the strength of the Park’s flexibility to make this level of growth possible.

“Watching Miller Homes develop a collaborative culture here highlights the vibrancy of our wider business community. We look forward to building on this positive relationship as their operations continue to evolve.”
