Redrow appoints new area sales boss

Redrow has hired Claire Jarvis from rival Persimmon Homes as sales director for Lancashire.

At Persimmon she was sales director for the West Midlands and she previously held national selling agent roles with Hamptons International and Knight Frank.

Jarvis, who lives in a Redrow house in south Manchester, said: "My parents owned three new homes in a row so I grew up on new housing developments and it was while chatting to a sales consultant at one of them that she suggested I would be good at the job. I decided to give it a go and quickly found my niche.

"I've always admired Redrow from afar and it's great to finally be on board. The team I've joined in Chorley is led by a managing director who's worked here for over 40 years and many other people have been here a long time too. People are clearly very proud and happy to work for Redrow, which says a lot."

She will be based at Buckshaw Village and cover developments in Fylde, Preston, Chorley, Rochdale, North Manchester and Merseyside.

Jarvis replaced Christine Aitken who has joined Taylor Wimpey North West.
