Redevco acquires 17-acre Widnes DHL fleet facility

Providing 560,000 sq ft of outdoor storage space, the Ditton Road site is let to Jaguar Land Rover.

Redevco’s acquisition of the 17-acre former Metsa Wood site in Widnes from Avjon sees its outdoor storage portfolio increase to 11 assets totalling 5.2m sq ft and rise in value to £133m.

The Widnes facility is operated by DHL and supports supply chain operations linked to JLR’s Halewood manufacturing plant five miles away.

“Assets of this scale, location and tenant quality are increasingly scarce, yet essential to the efficient functioning of supply chains. The Widnes facility combines strategic connectivity with a high-quality occupier, supporting long-term income resilience and future growth potential.”
