Prime Group ties up UK Events Group deal
The Manchester developer has sold or let all four units at its Prime Point Knowsley scheme to the occupier, accounting for close to 35,000 sq ft of industrial floorspace.
Prime started work on the development, which comprises three units in a terrace and a standalone building, in March last year, the project sitting within Knowsley Industrial Estate.
UK Events Group, which offers event and production solutions to theatres, concert promoters, festivals and conferences, has purchased Units 1 and 2 totalling 18,384 sq ft, and leased Units 3 and 4, adding up to 16,531 sq ft, to meet its expanding requirements.
All units are steel portal-framed with insulated roof and cladding, and each benefits from solar PVs and EV charging ports.
Prime Group director Jeff Pike said: “Knowsley Industrial Estate is a very popular location, and we were expecting a lot of interest from local occupiers, but it was very serendipitous to come across one company wanting all four units.
“UK Events Group now have the space from which to grow their business and maximize their potential long into the future. We are very proud of the quality of product we deliver and that shows in their continued demand.”
The Prime Group, which last year also secured consent for a 220,000 sq ft second phase at Prime Point Blackburn, was represented by Kuits.
