Plans in for 120 Lancaster homes

Homebuilder Oakmere Homes is seeking outline planning consent for its residential scheme off Newlands Road.
The development would comprise up to 120 homes in a mixture of house types.
Of the 120 homes, 36 would be affordable.
JWPC submitted the plans for the 14-acre site, which also proposes creating vehicular access from Newlands Road. DTPC is advising on transport for the project.
A separate pedestrian route would provide access to the surrounding schools and shops.
Oakmere has appointed Gadsen Consulting as the scheme’s civil engineer, and PDP as landscape architect.
Lancaster City Council’s reference number for the application is 23/00064/OUT.
