Peel tenders Trafford Wharf site preparation

Peel Media is continuing its extensive Media City UK construction programme with a tender to repair and clear dockland at Trafford Wharf in The Quays.
The site preparation contract for land at Trafford Wharf Road includes demolition, site clearance, removal of buried tanks, repairs to the existing suspended dock and quay structure and associated works.
Gleeds' Manchester office is advising on the four-month contract, valued at between £200,000 and £400,000.
Peel has been spending up to £5m a month on construction at the 200-acre scheme, set to become home to five BBC departments, digital schools from Salford University and – hopefully – numerous media companies in the near future.
Deadline for expressions of interest is 11 February.
