Place North managing partner Dino Moutsopoulos and deputy editor Dan Whelan sat down to discuss how preparations for MIPIM 2026 are going after launching a fresh programme and suite of packages in May.

Since then, WSP has joined the delegation as a Prestige Partner for the second year in a row, while firms like Hodder + Partners, Caddick, and Tritax Big Box Developments will also be travelling to Cannes next March as part of the Place North Partnership.

What’s new for 2026 at a glance?

International investor breakfast

Sick of bumping into the same people over and over again? This event will give local authority and developer partners the chance to make new connections and meet the people armed with the capital to make their visions a reality.

This event will take place on Tuesday 10 March 2026.

Industrial and logistics breakfast conference

We heard from you that MIPIM 2025 was lacking in industrial and logistics content. That’s why, in 2026, Place North will be hosting an I&L breakfast conference that will explore the issues and opportunities facing this vital sector.

Tritax Big Box Developments and Caddick will sponsor this event, which will take place on Thursday 12 March 2026.

Tailored packages for local authorities
