EEF opens regional office in Buckshaw Village

Manufacturers' organisation, EEF, is set to open a new regional office at Chorley's Buckshaw Village.

EEF has taken 1,241 sq ft of first-floor office space at Buckshaw Office Park in the Matrix Park element of the massive scheme on a five-year lease from landlords Westmarch Estates. Robert Pinkus & Co acted on behalf of the landlords.

The move will ensure that EEF continues to be close to its manufacturing membership base in the region. EEF works with around a quarter of the UK's manufacturing businesses delivering business services, government representation and industry intelligence.

David Ost, EEF's North West director, said: "Manufacturing contributes significantly to the Lancashire economy and accounts for a high proportion of our membership."

Buckshaw Office Park is the third phase of commercial development within Matrix Park at Buckshaw Village. Office accommodation is still available to let at Buckshaw Office Park ranging from 4,200 sq ft to 13,042 sq ft.
