And they’ll all be affordable by which I mean every one of them will be under £600..just..so just what we need then. I have two just so I can pull them down again and restore all the green space they’re building on. I wonder how many years all those construction Lorrie’s are going to be flowing up and down Hazelhurst rd just to get access..gonna be a ‘mare around there.

It’s not surprising that Salford Council give the go ahead for Story Homes and Wimpy house builders to build on Land near to the Bridgewater Garden centre. Between the house builders possibly 300 to 400 homes to be build , look at the community charge being raked in for Salford Council. A nice little earner for doing nothing , only causing up evil for the Local residents

Absolute jokers both Salford and Wigan councils. They have zero consideration about quality or life and mental health. I keep hearing that there is a massive shortfall of “family” homes in the area. Where are all these families that don’t have a home ? I don’t know of any, does anyone else?

I’m guessing @ Steve 8.54am supports the regeneration of central Salford and the Crescent on brownfield land, but maybe doesn’t acknowledge that a chunk of the demographic it attracts will eventually want and need family housing, unless of course you expect other local authorities to do the heavy-lifting. That was the whole point of Places For Everyone. Also comments here don’t acknowledge that Peel supported the RHS precisely because it increased the development value of its land.

Building on beautiful lovely greenbelt land should not be allowed. There is lots of brownfield sites that can be built on.

Plenty of derelict brownfield sites to build housing on in Salford. Why build on greenbelt!? I really hope the historic woods are not destroyed too. The public transport and services such as doctors and dentists are also lacking in this area. Where are all these people coming from that require expensive family homes??. Not Salford that’s for sure. So why build them! For rich people out of the area like usual

All green spaces being eaten up by big money grabbing companies. No infrastructure planned. Schools overcrowded. Doctors appointments a nightmare. Traffic fumes relates to health problems and existing wildlife in the area are being destroyed

This company seems to have a finger in every pie! They are wanting to acquire an area of Green belt land in my area with a view to building several hundred homes. If they get permission, I’m sure the number of homes they wish to build will increase. This is in a location where the accessibility to site is poor. Narrow winding roads, some parts without a footpath and dreadful traffic congestion already.

Absolutely disgusting. Every patch of green is being built all over. The traffic in Worsley is terrible as it is. And who are these houses for? I can’t see them being particularly affordable in the area they are being built on.
