Redrock fills up as opening nears

A further two tenants in Stockport’s £45m Redrock leisure scheme have been announced. Casual dining and bar brand Loungers is taking a 4,400 sq ft unit, and The Gym Group is due to open in a 15,000 sq ft space in 2018.

Both units are located at ground level under the 360-space, multi-storey car park which has been built as part of Redrock, and managed by NCP.

Stockport Council is the developer of the 75,000 sq ft Redrock, which was designed by BDP and built by Wates.

In Redrock, The Light Cinema is due to open on Thursday. The venue has a total of 914 seats across 10 screens.

Along with The Light, there is 38,000 sq ft of leisure and retail space. Zizzi, Pizza Express, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Mangobean Coffee are also tenants. Zizzi and Pizza Express opened last week, while GBK and Mangobean are due to open in the New Year. There are two units under offer, and two still available.
