Northern Trust secures £5.6m Ravenhead Industrial Estate

Hallmark Developments has sold the 50,600 sq ft St Helens estate to the Chorley-based developer, bringing its total industrial holdings in the town up to 150,000 sq ft.

Found off Ravenhead Road, the multi-let industrial estate comprises six separate warehouse units ranging from 6,800 sq ft to 18,500 sq ft.

Newmark advised Northern Trust on the deal.

The estate will be actively managed by Northern Trust’s in-house management team.

John Marrow, regional property director at Northern Trust, said: “We are delighted to add Ravenhead Industrial Estate to our growing portfolio.

“This acquisition strengthens our presence in St Helens and complements our existing ownership across the town.”

Northern Trust’s St Helens portfolio includes Gerards Park, Jackson Street Industrial Estate, and Baxters Lane Industrial Estate, with this latest deal taking Northern’s St Helens holdings to almost 150,000 sq ft across 88 units.

Marrow added: “The larger unit sizes at Ravenhead provide much-needed grow-on space for our existing occupiers and the wider local business community who are looking for expansion opportunities within the area.

“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our ongoing strategy of expanding our industrial portfolio.”
