Holt homes get go-ahead

Macbryde Homes is due to start on site in late spring on 24 homes on the edge of Holt, after receiving consent from Wrexham Council.

To be known as Castle Green, the new homes, which will be a mix of three- and four-bedroom homes, aimed at first-time buyers, young professionals and families.

Gwyn Jones, managing director of Macbryde Homes, said: “Holt is a highly desirable town which boasts a rich mix of history alongside a diverse range of independent retailers and excellent pubs and restaurants.

“Its proximity to Chester and Wrexham, combined with its well-regarded schools and enviable leisure facilities make Holt a highly sought-after location in which to live and we’re, therefore, delighted to have been given the green light to bring these new homes to the town.”

Some of the homes will be available to purchase with the help of Help-to-Buy Wales when sales launch later this year.
