Nando’s fills up St Modwen in Widnes

St Modwen has let the final unit at its £10m Hive leisure scheme in Widnes to restaurant group Nando's, weeks before the scheme opens.
Nando's has taken 3,880 sq ft at an undisclosed rent and will join Reel Cinema, a 16-lane Widnes Superbowl centre, a 36,000 sq ft ice rink, a Frankie & Benny's restaurant and a 60-bedroom Premier Inn next to Brewers Fayre family pub. The first element to open will be the bowling this month, followed by the cinema in October and restaurants in November.
Michael Hosie, development manager at St Modwen, said: "We are delighted that all units have been let to high calibre, exciting occupiers not previously represented in the town."
