Expanding bathroom retailer makes splash in Wrexham 

Easy Bathrooms has taken over the former Carpetright unit at Berse Road Retail Park.

The retailer, which has 148 sites nationally including in Aintree, Birkenhead, Macclesfield, and Chorley has expanded into Wrexham, taking over the 8,000 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease.

The unit was previously occupied by Carpetright and was refurbished when the company exited the unit last year.

The store is Easy Bathrooms’ first in North Wales and sees the company join fellow retailers B&Q, Screwfix, and Dreams at Paloma Capital’s complex.

Legat Owen advised the landlord on the deal.

Mark Diaper, director at Legat Owen, said: “Easy Bathrooms were quick to secure the location shortly after the commencement of marketing. The lease was agreed and processed alongside the landlord’s refurbishment of the space to allow the tenant to start their fit-out on completion.”
