Credit Suisse to open Manchester office

International private bank Credit Suisse is to branch out into Manchester and will open a new office on King Street.

Richard Algar, head of the private banking operation's UK regional team, will temporarily lead the team, and will employ five relationship managers.

The office is intended to serve customers in both the North West and across Yorkshire.

Algar said: "This underlines our commitment to the North and our desire to build long-term relationships with our clients."
