Consent for 35,000 sq ft Deeside wool factory

Chester Wool Company is due to occupy a purpose-built unit at Sandycroft in Flintshire.

Flintshire County Council has approved plans for the 35,000 sq ft facility off Factory Road under delegated powers.

The application was lodged by Rose Farmhouse Properties, a vehicle controlled by Chester Wool Company’s managing director Andy Robinson.

A CGI submitted with the planning documents shows signage for Chester Wool Company, which is currently based off Parkway around three miles away from the Factory Road site.

The scheme features a main warehouse measuring 27,400 sq ft, as well as offices and a dye workshop. It would be constructed on a two-acre site previously occupied by Gainland International following the demolition of the existing buildings.
