Click Plastics signs to Heron Business Park
Widnes Regeneration, a joint venture between developer St Modwen and Halton Council, has let 4,896 sq ft Unit 12 at the second phase of the business park.
Kevin Rigg, a director at Click Plastics, said: "We sell a wide range of plastic building products online, including the Floplast range of guttering systems and Kestrel's fascia boards, and needed the unit for storage. We've just set up and signed to a three year lease but are looking at buying the unit eventually. There's myself and two other directors, Brian and Kenneth Rice."
Other occupiers at the second phase of Heron Business Park, located on Tan House Lane in Widnes, include Cheshire Plumbing and building maintenance specialist Evolve Facility Services.
Heron Business Park comprises 125,000 sq ft of light-industrial space with the second phase, consisting of 19 units totalling 74,287 sq ft, completed in 2009.
St Modwen and the North West Development Agency funded the £5.9m project with support from Halton Council.
Dixon Webb and GVA are joint agents acting for Widnes Regeneration. Details of the agreed rent was undisclosed.
