Catella APAM promotes Northern head of asset management
Andrew Day has taken on the new position at the real estate asset management company after more than a year at the firm.
Based at Catella APAM’s Manchester office, Day has stepped into the role of Northern head of asset management with more than 13 years of experience in the industry.
Day joined the company as a senior asset manager in December 2021. Previous roles also include senior asset manager at Derwent Estates and asset manager at St Modwen Properties.
In his new role, Day will take responsibility for the leadership and growth of the company’s Manchester-based real estate services and investment pipeline, alongside asset management.
The position has been created following the promotion of Tony Christie from head of asset management to director of the UK operational board in APAM’s London office.
Also in London, Victoria Morgan has joined the company as Southern head of asset management.
Simon Cooke, founding director at Catella APAM, said: “Our broad range of asset, investment, and development management services are increasingly in demand in these changing markets.
“We are constantly adapting to meet this demand and are delighted to announce Tony and Andrew’s promotions and welcome Victoria to further strengthen our outstanding leadership team.”
Catella APAM’s assets include Corner Block, an office building in Manchester, which it acquired for £25m in 2020.
