Hawkins departs Colliers, Pozzoni steps up
Head of national office agency and development for UK regions since January 2020, Mike Hawkins has left the consultancy, with Manchester office head Dominic Pozzoni taking over the brief.
A Colliers spokesperson said: “We wish Michael Hawkins well as he leaves us to take on a new challenge in his career.
“Dominic Pozzoni will take over the leadership of the National Offices team and is well placed to take the business forward in its next phase of growth and development.”
As recently as the middle of last week, Hawkins had posted on LinkedIn praising colleagues’ work on the repositioning of South Manchester office scheme Scotscroft.
A well known figure in Manchester property, Hawkins joined Colliers in 2014, leaving the WHR business he set up a decade earlier with a cohort of fellow ex-Lambert Smith Hampton directors, including Mike Rooney and Mark Williams. WHR was then sold to Avison Young three years later.
Projects he has been involved in steering include the development of the Noma district in Manchester, and 103 Colmore Row in Birmingham.
Hawkins’ departure comes at a time of change for Colliers. In March, chief executive for UK and Ireland Tony Horrell left the role after 14 years at the helm, in a move that had been announced last summer.
Horrell has been succeeded in the role by John Munday, who joined Colliers as co-head of project and building consultancy in 2022.
Contacted by Place North West, Hawkins declined to comment.
