Taylor Wimpey lodges plans for 350 Halton homes
The housebuilder is seeking outline permission to deliver a mix of one- to four-bedroom properties on a 35-acre plot off Chapel Lane in Widnes.
Architect Escape Urbanists designed the scheme, which would deliver up to 350 houses and 13 acres of green open space, as well as walking and cycling routes.
There would be 20% affordable housing provision provided.
Each house would also be provided with an average of two car parking spaces with electric vehicle charging bays also proposed.
Proposals also feature the creation of a new access junction off Chapel Lane, which will be determined by Knowsley Council.
The Widnes site is currently vacant and is located in a part of the borough that has been earmarked by the local council for the delivery of 8,050 new homes by 2038.
Taylor Wimpey held a consultation for the plans last September.
Lichfields is the planning consultant for the scheme. Also on the project team is transport consultant Vectos and landscape architect Randall Thorp.
