Tandem grows team with third director hire

Simon Edwards has left William Fishwick & Son after more than 18 years, joining the investment firm’s co-founders Chris Lloyd and Richard Rees.

Tandem Investments is beefing up its ranks amid a sustained period of growth, adding Edwards to its team as well as Joey White, who joined as property manager earlier this year.

“I have worked alongside Richard and Chris on a number of joint ventures over the last couple of years and synergies were apparent between our respective companies and so when this opportunity presented itself, it felt like a good fit,” Edwards said.

“Joining the team will further strengthen the Tandem Investments’ offering to our clients and I am looking forward to joining Tandem Investments full time and growing the company further alongside my co-directors.”

Tandem’s team is now six strong with more appointments to come.

The size and value of the firm’s portfolio is also growing. Tandem has 1m sq ft of assets under management valued at £75m.

The firm’s recent deals include the acquisition of the 80,000 sq ft Eurolink Industrial Estate in St Helens and the sale of assets at Trafford Park and Barleycastle Industrial Estate for a combined £10m.
