Salford proposes homes opposite Buile Hill Park

Located off Edward Avenue, the city council’s 63-home scheme would see 19 townhouses and 44 flats delivered across four blocks.

The 2.3-acre site in question is a council-owned vacant strip of former playing fields located on the other side of Weaste Lane from Buile Hill Park.

Designed by Buttress Architects, the scheme would feature two four-storey apartment blocks and two rows of seven and 12 townhouses.

There would be 16 one-bed flats and 28 with two bedrooms. There would be five two-bed houses, 12 with three beds and a pair of four-bedroom properties.

Nexus Planning is advising the city council on its plans.

SFP, E3p, Lally Tree Management, CampbellReith, Introba, Curtins, and Energy Counsel are also advising.
