Pure Gym signs in Preston

Pure Gym is due to open its 90th outlet in Preston's North Road Retail Park after agreeing a lease on a 15,000 sq ft unit with landlord Worthington Properties, part of the Marcus Worthington Group.
The fitness chain was established in 2008 and has 400,000 members and is forecast to operate 150 clubs by the end of 2016.
Peter Roberts, founder of Pure Gym, said: "The North Road Retail Park in Preston provided the ideal location situated in a dense residential area complemented by a growing student population. Combined with good transport links it provides a perfect base for the new gym."
In March, Evans Cycles opened a 7,500 sq ft store at the retail park.
The gym is due to open before the end of the year.
