Keppie Massie launches funding service

Liverpool-based surveyors Keppie Massie have recruited former Anglo Irish Bank property advisor Martin Murphy to head up a new finance brokerage and consultancy service.

Murphy has spent nearly 20 years in property finance with spells at Barclays, Nationwide, N M Rothschild, Anglo, and, latterly, as an independent broker and consultant.

He said: "It is important that we match the client with the right lender. With access to prime and non-prime sources of funding, including senior debt, junior debt, mezzanine finance and equity, we can increase our clients' funding options. And because we have a strong understanding of what lenders are looking for in any particular deal structure, we can present the deals accordingly."

Stuart Keppie, partner at Keppie Massie, added: "We are confident that Martin will be a real asset to our business, further establishing the company as one of the leading agency groups in the North West. He is an experienced property banker and with his in-depth knowledge of the current funding market place, it will ensure our clients are provided with expert advice, and by someone with their best interests at heart."
