Miller Homes recruits production director
Andy Heaton has taken on the senior role, joining the housebuilder from Redrow.
As production director at Miller Homes, Heaton is charged with keeping its North West development pipeline moving, helping to deliver on schemes such as a 307-home Rainford project that is on track to complete in early 2025.
Heaton has more than 15 years of experience. In addition to being a construction manager at Redrow, he was also a contracts manager at Barratt Homes
Heaton’s hire was not the only recent Miller Homes recruitment from Redrow. Paul Simpson has also joined the housebuilder, taking on the post of contract manager.
Simpson got his start as an electrician before taking on a site manager role with Taylor Wimpey. This eventually led him to become a project manager at Redrow and, now, his contract manager post at Miller Homes.
Miller Homes North West managing director Stuart Craig said he was “thrilled” to have Heaton and Simpson join the Miller Homes team.
“Their wealth of sector experience and proven track records will be invaluable and further enhance our capacity to deliver top-quality homes and deliver exceptional service as we look to expand our presence in the region,” Craig said.
In addition to the Rainford project, other Miller Homes developments in the works in the North West include 75 homes in Timperley, 120 houses in Widnes, and the 328-home Lunts Heath Rise – also in Widnes.
Miller Homes’ North West office is located at Birchwood Park in Warrington.
