Mace hires director for the North
Sarah Morton has been promoted from operations director and is based in the global multidisciplinary practice’s Manchester office.
Morton also leads the managed frameworks team for Mace Consult, the company’s construction consultancy arm. She first joined the company in February last year and has, since then, worked to strengthen Mace’s relationship with the Crown Commercial Service, North West Construction Hub, SCAPE and the Southern Construction Framework.
Prior to joining Mace, Morton worked as a framework manager at Willmott Dixon and Bam.
Morton’s promotion comes at the same time the company announced a new director for the South West, Lucy Namihas.
“Mace Consult is committed to delivering sustainable, resilient projects that create positive change for clients across the public and private sectors through the continued expansion of our UK nationwide presence,” said Jason Millet, Mace’s chief executive for consultancy.
“Our hubs in the North, South West and Central regions will enable us to capitalise on fantastic new opportunities, further supporting the government’s levelling up agenda and deliver vital outcomes to communities nationwide.”
Mace is active in Manchester. Past projects include the construction of the Proton Beam Therapy Centre in Manchester for the Christie NHS Foundation and the revamp of the Manchester Royal Infirmary Hospital’s emergency department. Mace is also part of the project team for the restoration of Manchester Town Hall.
