Lefties to make UK debut at Liverpool ONE
Taking 35,000 sq ft across two floors, the Spanish store will open its doors at the city centre retail complex on 27 August.
Lefties sells a mix of fashion, accessories, footwear, and home goods. It is owned by the same company as Zara, Inditex, and operates out of 20 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Lefties’ Liverpool ONE store will be a flagship for the brand in addition to being its first in the country.
The brand will take over the units on South John Street that were formerly let to Sports Direct and Superdry. The merged space will feature a series of smart retail solutions, including automated clothes sorters, robotic hanger sorters, and radio ID assisted checkouts.
CBRE, Time Retail Partners, and Colliers acted for Liverpool ONE-owner Landsec on the deal. Lefties was self-represented.
Brendan Hattam, centre director at Liverpool ONE, said the shopping complex was proud to have the first Lefties UK store.
“It speaks volumes that Lefties, part of the Inditex group, has chosen Liverpool ONE as its first site in the UK – our stand-out retail, leisure and hospitality offering located in the heart of the city is a major pull for leading international brands,” Hattam said.
“We know Lefties will prove incredibly popular with guests thanks to its accessible, contemporary, trend-led collections and we can’t wait for the store to open its doors.”

What is needed for the shopping district of the entire Liverpool City centre is a friendly car parking policy from the Liverpool City Council .
They should employ more traffic wardens and grant the police community policing power to deal with the idiots who park illegally on the pavement.
Lodge Lane is a fine example, a major bus route for two distinct bus routes. Cars are parked over double yellow lines and on the pavement. Constant stoppages as a one- way traffic delayed system is caused.
The city centre parking fees cause lost of business thus less employees.

So inclusiveness is no longer a thing then.. as a right handed human (i.e. normal) this type of thing hurts… Happy to see new stores believing in Liverpool and I hope Ned does well. Hopefully, Righties will be following soon…

@Anon 8.16am, sorry to interrupt your rant about parking in Lodge Lane but if you happen to be interested in shopping at Lefties there is the vast underground car park under Liverpool One,or you have the multi storey next to John Lewis, both of which are very convenient. I agree though the city is not helping with it’s greedy on street parking charges extension after 6pm.
