Kennedy Redford names new managing director
Dan Bradley has taken over the senior leadership role from the Altrincham-based multidisciplinary consultancy’s co-founder, Rob Kennedy.
Bradley was previously a director at Kennedy Redford, having joined the company in 2021 from Cundall. He has more than 20 years of experience in delivering engineering services, especially in the structural engineering sphere.
Rob Kennedy will continue to be involved in the company as a director. He described Bradley’s promotion to managing director as “the most significant shift in our organisational structure to date”, adding that it “ensures we are prepared for the future”.
“Dan is highly respected by everyone who has worked with him,” Kennedy continued. “His acute understanding of the commercial advice that clients value at each stage of the development cycle means he is perfectly placed to lead the continued and sustained development of our consultancy business.”
For his part, Bradley said he was pleased to take on a larger role in the company.
“We have made great strides in the past two years and by ensuring we continue to invest in our people, listen to our clients and their needs, our multi-disciplinary consultancy business will be well-set to continue its profitable growth,” Bradley said.
“As we move forwards, I want to build on the hard work that the team has undertaken to get us to this point and continue to deliver projects that everyone can be proud to be part of,” he continued.
“I will continue to remain close to our clients and projects ensuring that my experience and passion for engineering provides value and technical excellence.”
Bradley will continue to work alongside Kennedy, as well as director of sustainability and building services Dilon Hilton, technical director of MEP Ian Crook, and technical director of civils Pedro Vicente in accomplishing these goals.
Kennedy Redford was founded in May 2019. Since then, it has worked on a series of North West projects including the JD Sports headquarters expansion in Bury and the Ancoats Mobility Hub in Manchester.
Kennedy Redford currently has a staff of more than 20, which it hopes to continue growing.
