GVA hires from Exacta

GVA has recruited Rob Gurney-Smith from specialist rate audit practice, Exacta, as a director in its ratings team in Manchester.

He specialises in technical and legislation matters relating to ratings such as case law, Valuation Office Agency Procedures and limitations.

Mark Rawstron, senior regional director of GVA's Manchester office, said: "We are very excited to announce the appointment of Rob. His unique and strong experience within ratings will further enhance GVA's offer and service to clients, whilst considerably strengthening our ability to successfully explore new opportunities."
