Galliford Try hires from Lovell

Warrington-based contractor Galliford Try has appointed Simon Parr from Lovell as contracts manager and head of the construction division in the North West.

Parr has 24 years’ experience in the housing and construction sectors and has also worked for Catalyst Lend Lease, Morris Homes and the Education Funding Agency.

As well as contracting with councils and housing associations in the region, Galliford Try Partnerships markets its speculative developments under the Linden Homes North West banner.

Parr said: “As head of the construction department I am anticipating that there will be new and exciting challenges ahead but I am very much looking forward to assisting the company in achieving its goals and raising the profile of Galliford Try Partnerships by delivering high quality developments.”
